A new, two-day music, arts and wellness festival will be hosted in Manchester on Saturday, August 21st and Sunday, August 22nd centred on The Love Factory. Animal Crossing’s Summer of Love will feature house, techno, yoga, a record fair, art, and a street food market.
There will be three stages of music with Saturday’s main stage in The Love Factory hosted by Gottwood Festival where Praslesh (Raresh b2b Praslea), SIT, Priku, Sepp, and Nu Zau will play. The second stage is headlined by Onur Ozer alongside Evan Baggs and Ethel.
On Sunday the ARPIAR trio of Raresh, Petre Insperecsi and Rhadoo bring a fourth member, Dreamrec. The Love Factory also welcomes Dyed Soundorom while the second stage will see sets from Josh Baker, Charlotte, Truly Madly, and Shonky b2b Traumer.
There will be classes provided by yoga platform Blok who co-host a wellness area with Mind Manchester. There will be a record fair featuring local outlets Basement Wax, Vinyl Pimp, and Wax Material, plus a selectors stage.
The artist corner will be hosted by Smolensky Gallery welcoming Manchester painters, designers, photographers and graffiti artists to create an environment of live art. Animal Crossing lead illustrator Matthew Alker will host a look into the visual festival campaign.
Eat MCR will serve up a street food market including Nells Pizza, The Green Lab and FryBy.
