For two and a half hours their deep 4/4 throbbed through room two, a warm but increasingly intense experience that was a complexly-layered treat for the ears. Meanwhile in room one, there was techno for a good stomp with Skudge, L.I.E.S. breakout artist Terekke and Papers blasting out the tunes.
The night at Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle is attracting techno followers wanting to hear only the most respected of mixers and live acts, which saw room one equally full when Skudge took over for their live set. Wires billowed out of the back of their equipment and their hour was every bit as heavy duty. Lashings of snares littered the beefy basslines creating a sweaty and excitable atmosphere for their headline set. Papers saw out room one with more bonecrushing techno right until 7am with the dancefloor moving until the end.
