Sónar returns to Barcelona from Thursday, June 12th to Saturday, June 14th with collaborations including Printworks London returning to take over SonarLab, Actress teaming up with Suzanne Ciani for a co-comission with London’s The Barbican, and the continuation of the TIMES cooperative project featuring multidisciplinary shows commissioned with other leading European festivals.
Audiovisual shows will come from Max Cooper, Sara Persico & Mika Oki, Daito Manabe, Eric Prydz, Bicep, Overmono, Cora Novoa, and Shapednoise & Sevi Iko Dømochevsky's world premiere of ‘Absurd Matter: Continuum'.
From the TIMES cooperative project, there will be audiovisual shows by Saint Abdullah, Eomac & Rebecca Salvadori and Chris Watson & Izabela Dłużyk, jointly commissioned by Sónar, Berlin Atonal, Semibreve and Unsound.
‘Room with a View’, created by influential French producer Rone and the (LA)HORDE collective together with the Ballet National de Marseille, will feature 20 dancers on stage for a show where soul and electronic music meet protest and dance.

Live sets range from MCR-T making his debut at Sónar with a new live set inspired by ghetto house and trap to Samantha Hudson's new album ‘Música Para Muñecas’ inspired by hardcore and bakala.
