The London Short Film Festival (LSSF) returns for its 22nd edition from Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 26th.
LSFF 2025's theme, Spaces, will explore the creative, social, and political landscapes of the spaces we inhabit and the cost of their loss – from cinemas and social hubs to the elusive third spaces, those vital gathering spots that define our collective experience and foster community.
With more than 6,000 international submissions each year, 2025's edition promises an eclectic line-up of more than programmes, including the New Shorts competition, cutting-edge events, and industry networking.
LSF is committed to showcasing the next generation of filmmakers and uncovering hidden talent, having acted as a launchpad for critically acclaimed British directors like Peter Strickland, Andrea Arnold, Prano Bailey Bond and Charlotte Regan.
Confirmed venues include the BFI Southbank, ICA, Curzon Soho, Rio Cinema, and Rich Mix, alongside beloved arts and community spaces like SET Peckham and Catford Mews.
