Workshops will delve into production techniques, covering essential topics such as 'approaching remixing' and 'creating what you hear'.
Panel discussions will tackle broader industry issues, such as 'maximizing reach' and 'marketing authenticity', providing timely reminders of the importance of staying grounded in music and maintaining genuine connections in a crowded market.
Among the artists providing a showcase of the acid sound will be Radio Slave, Flores Negras, Lauren Flax b2b DJ Slugo, Steve Noah, Microdot, and Glenn Underground.
The event will also host the premiere of Children of Acid, produced by Viva Acid in collaboration with Baffe Productions.
The film provides a deep discovery into the history and evolution of Chicago’s acid house scene.
