Vitalic launches his new album Rave Age next month with a live performance at the Neon Noise Project’s Halloween Soirée on Saturday, November 3rd. The electro mastermind headlines the main room of Fire in Vauxhall as part of its new In Session series as the venue shifts its focus into attracting some of the biggest London promotions.
The second wave of acts have been revelad for both the Eastern Electrics NYE party at the Coronet, and an upcoming free warm-up party. Garage-house aficionado Huxley and mulletover resident Geddes will join Eats Everything and Joy Orbison in the main room. Meanwhile Futureboogie’s rising stars Behling & Simpson are first on the bill for Snowbombing and tech-house renegade October will be representing for Trix.
Cult Camden retailer Cyberdog is to launch a pop-up store to petition to house a petition for the release of the two Russian punk band members of Pussy Riot. Tomorrow (Wednesday, October 24th) you will be able to walk into the store to sign the petition and also purchase a variety of merchandise curated and created by the band, including their trademark brightly colored balaclavas. A large percentage of all proceeds will go directly to the band themselves.

Tribe is the first company to trial crowdsourcing as a capital sream in response to a challenging financial year. For one month up to 200 individuals can become investors and reap the benefits.
Brixton Academy will host the UKF Bass Culture NYE party with Chase & Status, Foreign Beggars, Shy FX, B-Traits and Koan Sound getting behind the decks, and more to be announced. In the last 12 months hip hop act Foreign Beggars have collaborated with Skrillex and Noisia, progressing their sound to form a new dance movement. Performances at Exit, Glade and South West Four incorporated rap, house, d&b, grime and dubstep.
Rob da Bank’s Bestival is relocating from the Isle of Wight to Peckham for one night of Halloween antics on Saturday, October 27th. Sunday Best presents an epic party dubbed “Rave vs Hoedown” at the Bussey Building, featuring an eclectic line-up of DJ Zinc, Kidnap Kid, Sombrero Sound System, Tythe, Shades of Rhythm (live PA), Hoedown Collective Cut A Shine and Moulettes.
Soundcrash presents six audiovisual sets in one night at Shoreditch’s Village Underground on Friday, November 23rd headlined by Hexstatic’s Holotronica in 3D. Holotronica is the latest project from award-winning producer Stuart Warren-Hill, one half of the inimitable Hexstatic duo. The AV concept combines analog synthesisers with real-time midi-triggered visuals set in time with the beats and pulses of Hexstatic’s music. Glasses will be provided on the door to see the stereoscopic visuals which will be projected onto a custom-made silver mesh screen for 3D effect.
The Big Chill Presents returns in October for a Halloween Party with the Bruk Out Crew. London’s Big Chill House will welcome Thunderbird Gerard, Brackles, Serocee, TCTS, the Bruk Out DJs and dance troupe Skullduggery Refuse to lead the ghoulish night.
More than 50 acts including Flying Lotus, Django Django, Rustie and Actress will perform at the 12th edition of Club To Club Alfa Romeo MiTo in Turin next month. Running from Thursday, November 8th to Sunday, November 11th, Club to Club fuses music, arts and electronic culture in an exclusive circuit of baroque theatres, contemporary art centres, clubs, post industrial pavilions, historical squares, creative districts and classical auditoriums.
At the end of the month the Movement Festival will once again take over Torino’s nightlife with a week of music from Saturday, October 27th to Saturday, November 3rd. Now in its seventh year, Movement is the Italian cousin of the world-renowned Detroit Electronic Music Festival with sets from Derrick May, Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Seth Troxler and 2ManyDJs.
Fans of Matt Edwards – aka Radio Slave and The Machine – can get their hands on a rare and unique release at Dalston-based fashion and music store LNCC on Thursday, November 15th. Joe Claussell has revised and reinterpreted Matt’s The Machine album Redhead, creating a consummate body of work and a new album in itself. It will be released on triple LP vinyl alongside the original version on triple LP and CD in a 24’ × 24’ box set only available on the night with Quiet Village and Misha (P.A.M.) playing DJ sets.
Sunday party promoter secretsundaze will mark Halloween on Saturday 27th October at Factory 7 in Shoreditch with the sounds of Shed, San Proper and BLM. Their second asylum party follows a killer event at Village Underground last year with Skudge, Fred P and October.
Zedd, Dirtyphonics and Gemini will join Benny Benassi for his Electric Cinema pemiere in London on Saturday, November 10th. The aptly-named Electric Brixton hosts the all night viewing of electrovision basslines and technicolor beats.
Electro maestro Vitalic provides the soundtrack to surrealist post-modernist movie The Legend of Kaspar Hauser showing at the ICA Cinema in London until Saturday, October 13th. Inspired by classic arthouse titles such as El Topo (Jodorowsky), Stalker (Tarkovsky), Alphaville (Godard) and Dead Man (Jim Jarmusch), Davide Manuli’s film is a western and a fresh take on the German tale of a ‘wild boy’.
London techno party Coma will mark its first birthday at The Nest in Stoke Newington on Friday, October 12th. Launched at the Rhythm Factory last October, Coma will welcome Rolando, James Ruskin and a Surface Records showcase for a 9pm to 4am event.

On Friday, September 28th Simian Mobile Disco, Julio Bashmore, Tensnake and The 2 Bears will usher in a new era for the Leeds venue with Skream and Breakage playing the following night. Illustration collective Technicolour Moon are also getting involved to create a unique space on Brandon Street.
