Hideout festival added to the growing calendar of events in Croatia last year and returns in 2012 with another line-up of the biggest names in electronic music. Featuring the same mix of beach and boat parties around the island of Pag, the first acts revealed for the three-day event at the end of June include Ricardo Villalobos, Four Tet, Caribou, Andy C and Skream.
The team behind the bass heavy Outlook Festival have unveiled a new September event focused on techno, house and the deeper side of dance music. Dimensions will take place one week after Outlook at its Croatian home of Fort Punta Christo from Thursday, September 6th to Sunday, September 9th boasting acts such as Moodymann, Dyed Soundorom, Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock.
The A Night With… series has seen Derrick Carter, Miss Kittin, Matthew Dear, Ellen Allien and Magda get behind the decks for an eight hour session. Completely unsupported, these have been nights to remember as the iconic mixers have raided their record collections to give the audience on a musical education while demonstrating their passions, skills and sounds. On Friday, January 20th bass lovers the Urban Nerds return to fabric for their first 2012 event, celebrating four years of Nerds parties at fabriclive. Having taken their big bass to room two in 2011, they will return to the caves of room three curating a deeper line-up blending experimental bass, garage, dubstep and funky sounds.

Croatia’s bass festival Outlook brings its sound to London for a launch party at Ewer Street car park on Saturday, January 21st. Winner of the Best European Festival at the UK Festival Awards, the night will feature five archways of music including the Iration Steppas, Mungo’s Hifi and Noise Control Audio.
Tomorrow Urban Nerds joins forces with fellow underground club brand BassLaced for a warehouse NYE celebration featuring verses showcases as two of 2011’s most UK influential labels, Swamp81 and Numbers, go head-to-head. For the first time Camden Crawl will be a three day event in 2012. The multi-venue festival is always popular and next year even more people will be able to enjoy the mix of bands, DJs and more. The first acts will be announced in January for the May 4th – 6th weekend, but early bird tickets are on sale now. Tickets are also available for the opening night party featuring six live acts at a special edition of Club NME on Friday, May 4th from 5pm at KOKO. A full music and arts programme will run from midday on Saturday 5th May until the early hours of the following bank holiday Monday.

Urban Nerds host a bass-charged Halloween special at a new venue in London Bridge: Crucifix Lane.
