Get Loaded in the Park is back in 2011, but this time it’s hitting Clapham Common in June – Sunday, June 12th to be exact. Once the sister festival to South West Four over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, Get Loaded is going solo with a Sunday event in June headed up by Razorlight.

Magnetic Man confirmed for SW4

Dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man seemed destined to play every festival there is by the end of 2011 with an appearance at Clapham Common’s South West Four confirmed for Sunday, August 28th. Skream, Benga and Artwork will join Pendulum’s day with Underworld taking top slot on the Saturday of the two-day event.

The Japanese Popstars kickstart late April bank holiday weekend

Northern Irish trio The Japanese Popstars may not be anything they call themselves, except future stars in the making. Their live electro shows have seen their reputation skyrocket with Gary, Declan and Gareth taking their show around the globe. On Thursday, April 28th they’ll get the Royal Wedding long weekend underway with a set at London’s Cargo supported by Losers and Luke Walker.

L.E.D. adds acts to deadmau5 in Victoria Park

Support for deadmau5 playing his first ever outdoor event have been announced. The day festival from the L.E.D. team will take place in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday, June 11th has seen a host of additional acts announced, including internationally renowned DJ and producer Mark Ronson. The Brit award winner who has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and Adele will spin the tunes, as will chart topper is Calvin Harris.

One of the festivals only known to those of a more inquisitive nature is back as Beat-Herder returns to the sleepy Ribble Valley in Lancashire for more under the radar electronic dance music fun.
