The Jazz Cafe reveals shows through to June 2022

Cousin Kula, Mina & Bryte, Session Victim, Joe Armon Jones & Greentea Selecta, Hailu Mergia, 47 Soul, Yín Yín, and Andrew Ashong are among the acts set to play The Jazz Cafe in London from autumn into spring.

Among the other highlights from the newly-announced programme are Lady Blackbird (Wednesday, September 29th), The Alchemist (Friday, October 15th), and a Stones Throw Records night with MNDSGN and Jamael Dean (Sunday, November 7th). Greentea Selecta (Greentea Peng) will play with support from a Joe Armon-Jones DJ set on Friday, November 12th while MINA & Bryte play the following Friday on November 19th.

Looking into December, Tenderlonious presents 22a will throw a Christmas party (Friday, 3rd), Barcelona’s rising rap-star El Bobe will make their UK debut (Monday, 6th) and Habibi Funk will continue his London residency (Friday, 10th) with YouTube mix authority, My Analogue Journal.

In January, Session Victim return for a four-week residency running every Friday. Tertia May (Thursday, 27th) and Jay Electronica (January 29th, 31st and February 1st) will also feature to kick start the year.

Further into 2022, Palestinian hip-hop powerhouse, 47 Soul will play shows on Friday, February 18th and Saturday, February 19th. Fernando Rosa will play his first UK shows on Tuesday, March 1st and Wednesday, March 2nd. Dutch band, Yīn Yīn perform on Friday, March 4th and Theophilus London returns to the UK for the first time in eight years on Monday, March 28th.
