Basslines will be felt at the Electric Brixton as the Spectrum NYE 2011 party starts the New Year as they mean to go on – LOUD. Spectrum’s lineups this year have boasted the likes of Chase & Status, Pendulum, Zane Lowe, Sinden, The Japanese Popstars and The Glitch Mob, so for its final party of the year, it’s bringing in dubstep heavyhitters.
This NYE Joker makes a return to Spectrum as Bristol’s dubstep don, fresh from the recent release of his debut album. Breakage has had a top 40 hit with anthem “Fighting Fire” so he’ll be looking to make his mark early in 2012 while Rinse FM’s Roska makes his Spectrum debut alongside partner-in-crime Jamie George who’ll be on mic duties. And bonafide dubstep royalty Plastician also gives the bill that deeper dimension.
For those who like things that little bit heavier, Spectrum brings in two hot acts: Sigma and Delta Heavy. Both are ready to establish themselves as future stars of the bass music scene in 2011. There will also be a second room hosted by independent dance label Funkatech.
