Sónar will host its debut Istanbul edition at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center, an arts space considered to have one of the best acoustics in the world. Acts confirmed for the music, creativity and technology festival on Friday, March 24th and Saturday, March 25th include Moderat, Roisin Murphy, Nina Kraviz, Floating Points, Kode9, Prins Thomas, Clark and Nosaj Thing.
Also playing across four stages will be Matias Aguayo, HONNE, HVOB, Cola & Jimmu plus local artists who represent the contemporary Turkish scene such as Vildan Gündüz, Style-ist, Büber, Fasitdaire, duo Ipek Görgün & Biblo, Mabbas, Seretan, Doğu Orcan and Tandem Fuchs & Cervus.
The Sónar+D the congress of creative technologies will branch out into conferences, installations and new media art. It will include projects and creators such as Ali Demirel, Ryoji Ikeda, NONOTAK, Francesco Tosini and Atay İlgün.
