Ransom Note to open London record shop

Ransom Note will open a record shop in east London on Saturday, December 2nd. Teaming up with long-term collaborator Aiden d’Araujo, author of its House Hunting column, there will be a selection of second-hand house, techno, Hi-NRG, Italo, new wave, synth, boogie, disco, funk and soul plus Ransom Note releases and stock from their favourite labels.

The shop will also be home to resident turntable technician Neil Macey on hand to assist with deck repairs. He’s set up and designed systems across the globe and has been Ransom Note’s resident audio technician.

There will be a launch party on the opening Saturday from 12noon at the space in a new railway arch space in Forest Gate, across from Wanstead Park at Arch 432 Avenue Road, Wanstead Park, E7 0JH.
