Printworks London will host the main stage at Belgium’s Extrema Outdoor festival this year. Joseph Capriati, Joris Voorn, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Âme b2b Dixon, Patrice Bäumel and a live set from Recondite will grace its stage as the event celebrates its 10th anniversary from Friday, May 29th to Sunday, May 31st.
Some 70,000 people are expected to attend across three days to see sets from acts such as Jennifer Cardini, 999999999, Carista, Ida Engberg, D.A.V.E The Drummer, Nicole Moudaber, San Soda, Manni Dee, Tommy Four Seven, Marcel Fengler, Amelie Lens, Todd Terje, Stephan Bodzin, Armand Van Helden, Hunee, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Pan-Pot, Sasha & John Digweed.
This will be Printworks first international outing with a Distrikt 5 stage takeover of all three days. Extrema is in De Plas in Houthalen-Helchteren where dense forest surrounds a lake offering chill-out sessions at the lakeside beach. Extrema will have seven music arenas from vast to intimate dancefloor moments.
An Exploratory Zone will take care of the mind, body and soul as well as more than 25 artisan food traders. Accommodation includes cabins and boutique camping options available. Those camping can enjoy afterparties at the beachside location; those off-site can join a series of afterparties at Belgium techno institution Labyrinth Club. Bus transfer from the festival to the club is included.
