The world’s biggest drum and bass live act Pendulum have announced their only London show of 2011: closing South West Four on August Bank Holiday Sunday. The Australian band will be the last act on stage at Clapham Common’s two day event, closing the weekender with their immense sound.
We have seen the support bill for the festival and it’s absolutely massive.
For nine years Pendulum have fused ideas from a plethora of musical genres – but they’ll always have their roots in drum and bass. Even with gigs across the globe, the trio caught the ‘Blightly’ bug – now calling London home. 2005 saw debut album Hold Your Colour storm the charts, following up with In Silico and latest offering Immersion. Their live show has wowed audiences at Glastonbury, Leeds, Reading, Pukkelpop, Monegros, Bestival, Ultra and and T in the Park. Continuing a trail of destruction, last year Pendulum sold out Wembley Arena, pushing production and visual boundaries. For their only London show this year, Pendulum close the South West Four Weekender on Sunday, August 28th. Rob Swire of Pendulum said: “We have seen the support bill for the festival and it’s absolutely massive. Can’t wait to play this event!”
South West Four Weekender returns Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August. Line-up details are set to be revealed over the next few months. For the latest information go to www.southwestfour.com.
