Outlook and Dimensions Festival announce Knowledge Arena programme

Dam Funk, Gary Gritness, General Levy, Randall, Kenny Ken, Fabio and the London Modular Alliance will share their expertise at the Outlook and Dimensions Knowledge Arenas. Across the two events from Thursday, August 31st to Sunday, September 10th there will be the opportunity to enjoy talks, panels and tutorials with additional activities available for those purchasing a Knowledge Arena Pro Delegate Pass.

The free-play workstations and interactive workshops with cutting edge music production equipment is a place for attendees, industry types and next generation artists and to network, learn and discover. Its aim is to dig into the roots of genres, as well as take a fresh look at the future of the music industry.

The Delegate Pass to access the Knowledge Arena Pro is designed for those working in, or looking to break into the industry. There will be access to enhances the educational experience such as a one-on-one production session with a qualified tutor production software plus gieaways such as sample packs from Loopmasters, Ableton t-shirt and Resident Advisor tote bag (first come first serve) and a 12 month membership of the Knowledge Arena Pro worth £30 of event promotions, reduced price tickets and quarterly newsletters,

Meanehile, on-site, delegates will also receive an invitations to the international networking lunch plus industry hub & discussion evenings, a VIP wristband providing access to the Artists/Press Bar and access to any Knowledge Arena activities, panel discussions, talks and open tutorial sessions. Dimensions delegates will receive high-quality digital copies of the first release on Dimensions Recordings (12 in total) while Outloo delegates will receive an invitation to the Sound System Culture Conference.

At Dimensions Festival, the Knowledge Arena agenda of talks confirmed so far, include Dam-Funk and Gary Gritness doing a joint interview, plus electro under the microscope with London Modular Alliance. The team will run through the foundations of the electro genre, key players and artists and it’s growth, plus their role in pushing the game into new places through analogue gear.

At Outlook Festival jungle pioneers Randall, Kenny Ken and Fabio will take a journey through the history of jungle. Hatcha and Youngsta will run through the history of dubstep, General Levy will give a talk and Adrian Sherwood will discuss the SSL Desk (Solid State Logic), a revered piece of equipment used to innovate and create.
