The team behind the bass heavy Outlook Festival have unveiled a new September event focused on techno, house and the deeper side of dance music. Dimensions will take place one week after Outlook at its Croatian home of Fort Punta Christo from Thursday, September 6th to Sunday, September 9th boasting acts such as Moodymann, Dyed Soundorom, Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock.
Located on a peninsular surrounded by crystal clear Adriatic waters, Dimensions combines sun-soaked beach parties by day and all night raving up at the fort until sunrise. The legendary Outlook boat parties also get a revamp as Dimensions takes command for the weekend. Heading up the line-up is a strong Berlin contingent representing the mature and industrious sound of clubs such as Berghain and Watergate. Marcel Dettman leads the charge along with Ben Klock as well as fresh faces Kassem Mosse and Motor City Drum Ensemble. New Berlin residents Skull Disco expat Shackelton and Hotflush Recordings label boss Scuba complete the German contingent.
UK House is represented by Pearson Sound, Pangaea and Ben UFO of Hessle Audio. Joy Orbison, Sigha and Space Dimension Controller will bring their unique style while producers Blawan and Midland, future garage newcomer Pariah and Golden Panda will also play. Techno fans can see Detroit favourites Moodyman and Theo Parrish as well as young blood Kyle Hall. Other acts appearing at the first Dimensions festival include Alexander Nut, Floating Points Mala of DMZ, Swamp 81 label boss Loefah, Dyed Soundorom and Andrew Weatherall.
Tickets go on sale on Sunday, January 22nd at 4pm priced from £120. Outlook and Dimensions tickets are £230, boat party tickets are £20.
