Their January Sale brings together Kompakt founding member Michael Mayer, South London’s rising star Joy Orbison, ManMakeMusic’s Another Amit and resident Geddes at a secret London location on Saturday, January 28th.

Alongside fellow Kompakt founders Jurgen Paape and the brothers Voigt, Mayer has forged a signature “Cologne Sound”. It is a style that is heard in Berlin which has a fast-growing reputation as THE place to party. Mayer is by no means a techno purist, but is constantly striving to look beyond one´s own nose, to shift frontiers and to go in depth. His compassion to the scene, devotion to music and his craft as a DJ and producer has set him in a standard that few have been able to accomplish, regarding himself as ‘both an entertainer and educator’.

Joy Orbison is the well-mannered nephew of drum ‘n’ bass legend Ray Keith. His brand of garage-house has been celebrated for finding a sound that marries elements of house, two-step, jungle, techno and dubstep. With this magic mixture of sounds and feelings, the Croydon boy will be bringing his unique take on what works on the dancefloor.

Another Amit is co-founder of the ManMakeMusic parties and record label, and well versed in tearing up dancefloors deep into the early hours. He’s been lurking behind the scenes for 6 years now, DJ-ing at a host of London’s top nights and clubs past and present-Mulletover, EE, SecretSundaze, The End, TDK Cross Central to name a few- whilst running a night that was one of the first to blend house, techno, dubstep and garage, an amalgamation that’s only recently become in vogue.

mulletover’s Geddes is looking forward to a bumper year which will include three key parties, a secret pop-up event and the first mulletover compilation album. He said: “I´m excited for 2012, it’s gearing up to be our best year yet. As usual we’ll be doing three standalone shows; for January we´re taking things back to our roots, the birthday there´s an amazing line-up in the making and Halloween will be off the radar.”
