Joey Negro, the London premiere of Larry’s Garage - The Story of Larry Levan and Paradise Garage, plus a new outdoor stage and street food hub at Brixton Village have been added to Brixton Disco Festival. Live music, DJs, screenings, talks, food and drink will take over the Windrush Square venues of Electric Brixton, POW Club, The Ritzy Picturehouse and The Black Cultural Archives.
The celebration of all things disco will be back in Brixton on Saturday, May 2nd with Crazy P, Jocelyn Brown, John Morales, the Reflex, Mighty Mouse, Roofy Rooftop party with Tayo and Frank Hope and Brixton Chamber Orchestra previously confirmed.
Larry’s Garage - The Story of Larry Levan and Paradise Garage will be screened at the Ritzy Cinema. It tells the tale of NYC nightclub Paradise Garage and its legendary resident DJ Larry Levan. The outdoor stage and food hub in Brixton Village will have the theme ‘The Roots of Disco All Dayer’.
