Melodic Distraction Radio seeks help to find new home

Melodic Distraction Radio is calling on Liverpool music fans to help find it a new home. The station whose residents include Crazy P, Reedale Rise, ASOK and Lȧpsley, has been broadcasting from the Baltic Triangle since 2017, but will now be forced to leave.

Due to irreconcilable differences with their landlord, Melodic Distraction say they will have to leave their current space at the end of October. The organisation claims the proposed redevelopment of the building and plot of land that Melodic Distraction’s studio sits on means the landlord will only offer incremental, short-lease extensions.

This means Melodic Distraction is looking for a new studio space with a strong local community and long-term security. They are appealing to all those in Liverpool to help them find a space suitable at this uncertain time.
