Nature Walk will be Marcos Cabral’s debut full release on Dimensions Recordings. Available from Friday, April 13th, it follows on from the New Yorker’s ‘Prochainement’ on Dimensions 002.
The EP features the not quite house, not quite techno of ‘Wishful’, the dub techno of ‘Nature Walk’, house cut ‘Cape Cod’, the acid of ‘Rice A Roni’ and the more hypnotic ‘Let’s See How The Light Goes Through It’. The EP has gained support from Larry Heard, Antal, Josey Rebelle, Hunee, Mike Huckaby and Ralph Lawson.
Cabral said: “I just started working with Dimensions last year - being included on a various artist EP. Which led to the full EP. All the tracks on the EP are live takes. My love of studio gear and the limitations of it are probably the biggest influence. I like to keep busy music-wise. A steady pace of record releases is all I want.”
