Lost Village 2019 reveals more music, food and comedy

Artwork, Craig Charles, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Horse Meat Disco, Tiga and Mr Scruff have joined the line-up for Lost Village. Returning to privately owned woodland in the Lincolnshire countryside, halfway between Newark and Lincoln, this year’s dates are Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th.

Expect music, food, creative workshops, comedy, live talks and discoveries set among a network of derelict houses, junkyards, an abandoned airport and relics of a time long-passed. Other acts just confirmed include Nightmares on Wax, Raw Silk, Theo Kottis, Todd Edwards and Voyage Funktastique.

Live performances previoously confirmed include Little Dragon and Maribou State, while Holly Walker, Onipa, House Gospel Choir, Low Island, Hyde Park Brass and Brass Funkeys have been added. Superorganism and The Orielles will bring their wonky indie to the festival, plus house legends Inner City, UK rapper slowthai and electronic experimentalist Yves Tumor.

Escape the music at the lake, wood-fired hot tubs, yoga, massage and holistic therapies in the Energy Garden or head to Forgers Fayre for creative workshops such as crafting, jewellery making, sculpting and apothecary. This year’s Lost Theatre comedy line-up includes Russell Kane, Chris Ramsey, Angela Barnes, Milton Jones, Lauren Jones and Tom Lucy.

The Institute of Curious Minds will see live interviews, talks and debates from a range of guest speakers. Previous editions have included global explorers, music historians, scientists and relationship experts.

Lost Village will also host Dishoom’s only festival outpost, a Hawksmoor Sunday Roast, the first ever banquet from one of London’s most creative restaurants and a range of eateries from brands such as Burger & Beyond, Happy Endings and Piadina Project.
