Award-winning green festival Paradise City returns to Ribaucourt Castle in Perk, Belgium from Friday, June 23rd to Sunday, June 25th. John Talabot, Andhim, Pierre, Acid Pauli, Audion Live, Jan Blomqvist & Band and Kornel Kovacs are the first acts confirmed for the OVAM GroeneVent Award accredited festival.
Paradise City aims to be a future-proof festival and makes every effort to reduce its ecological footprint to an absolute minimum - in 2016 it used 100% solar energy at the camp site, 95% use of low-consumption LED lighting, had 100% ethically-purchased food and recycled waste 62% of its PVC and glass waste. Other green credentials include providing purified tap water instead of bottled water and by not using food and drink tokens - all payments are made electronically using the pre-loaded festival wristband. Free cardboard tents will be available for all festival-goers too.
New for this year is a comfort deck next to the gourmet festival restaurant offering a panoramic view of the festival and there will be a butler service via the Tsjing app to get food and drinks delivered to where you are by scanning a QR code.
