The Joe Strummer Foundation will host Arrows Of Love, Bloody Knees, Yowl, Lice and Heavy Lungs at The Brass Monkey in Hastings to support Independent Venue Week. The Strummerville-On-Sea show on Saturday, February 3rd will keep door prices at the East Sussex venue to a minimum, pay all acts and raise much-needed funds and awareness for the charity.
The Joe Strummer Foundation fund provides opportunities to musicians and support to projects around the world that create empowerment through music. Arrows of Love headline having been aligned with the early East London wave of bohemian rock bands to now being a well-travelled, independent and creative act drive that has taken them to events such as SXSW and End of the Road.
Support comes from noise-maker collective Bloody Knees, Peckham-formed Yowl, satirical art-punk band Lice and abrasive four piece Heavy Lungs.
