March 30th will see us inside the place, rolling to the Hospital Records takeover of the spectacular Tobacco Dock. Following their introductory takeover of this east London grade 1 listed building in 2017, Hospital records have wasted no time in 2018 to get back into the fray for round two. Hospitality in the Dock will be an all day spectacle to kick off the bank holiday weekend in style.
Hospital records were the first to bring a drum and bass takeover to this remarkable venue and this time around we’re promised that it will be even bigger and better. Judging by the line-up, that pledge will easily be delivered on. There’s full menu of drum and bass on offer for the day across three spaces.
From scene pioneers such as DJ Randall, Congo Natty, Mickey Finn and Aphrodite, to relative upstarts Camo & Krooked, Metrik and Whiney. Plus everything in-between to give a full gamut of styles and tempos to suit every mood.
As with any good drum and bass event, there is a solid set of MCs to host the three stages. Hospital favourites such as Dynamite, Wrec and SP:MC will all be on crowd hype duties at various points in the day and Stalwarts Shabba D and Skibadee will be making sure the Jungle Jam stage keeps rolling. Capping off the good festival vibe, and to keep the energy topped-up, there will be a range of street food on offer.
For those keen to continue, the afterparty action is being hosted at Fabric, with the same focus on uniting the beats and basslines of some of the world’s best drum and bass DJs, MCs and live acts across two rooms.
Tickets for the day are expected to sell out in advance and can be purchased through the event microsite at hospitalityinthedock.london*
