More than 150 acts will play the Portugal edition of BPM Festival from Thursday, September 14th to Sunday, September 17th. The European debut of the Mexican event will see Paul Kalkbrenner, Eats Everything, Skream, Anja Schneider, Paco Osuna and Cassy play at the coastal towns of Portimão and Lagoa.
Other acs confirmed include Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Josh Wink, Guti, Art Department, Reboot and Peggy Gou. There will also be more than 20 brand and label showcases from brands such as Paradise, Ants, Elrow, Tru5t (presented by Nick Curly), Kaluki, No. 19 / Social Experiment, All Day I Dream and Ya’ah Muul.
BPM Festival: Portugal will take place across six venues in the adjacent coastal municipalities of Portimão and Lagoa. During the day, Portimão’s newest beach club Blanco Beach will host parties, including Stereo Productions and Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream. Cloque’s open-air setting atop limestone cliffs will offer sunset views to the sounds of Hector’s Vatos Locos collective and Nick Curly presents Tru5t.
On Portimão’s main pedestrian walkway of Avenida Tomás Cabreira, the nighttime programming will take in newly-renovated rooftop venue Oceans Club with Romania’s Sunrise and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest. Katedral nightclub will host French label FORM Music and Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect.
The largest events will be at beach club NoSoloÁgua where Brazil’s Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice, Jamie Jones’ Paradise and the Portuguese debut of Elrow will be on offer. Lagoa’s Centro de Congressos do Arade will be the place to go for BPM’s signature party Ya’ah Muul hosted by Deep House Amsterdam and Ibiza staple Ants.
