Don Diablo and Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 are the first speakers confirmed for Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Pro this October. They will be part of the conference at Felix Meritis alongside Zimmerman’s business partner Dean Wilson, Mixcloud CEO and co-founder Nico Perez, IMPALA chair Helen Smith, Zaena x Jason Maek, and AR/VR expert Cortney Harding.
ADE’s 25th edition will run from Wednesday, October 13th to Sunday, October 17th. The Pro programme will discuss the future of the music industry, new ways of generating income for artists such as NFTs and Blockchain, green and sustainable initiatives, and how to focus on more profitable and effective business practices. How to reform streaming platforms to guarantee electronic music artists get their fair share will also be a topic.
The ADE Pro Pass, which grants access to the ADE daytime and nighttime experience, is on available an early bird rate. ADE will be revealing a limited discount code for the ADE Pro Pass during Thursday’s episode of its monthly livestream ADE in Conversation, starting at 5pm CET. After inviting Richie Hawtin, James Blake and more for its first two episodes, Thursday’s ADE in Conversation features BLOND:ISH and DGTL on sustainable festivals, among others.
