Aphex Twin, Skepta, Disclosure, Marco Carola, Flume and Chase & Status will play the new 10,000 capacity home for The Warehouse Project (WHP) this autumn. The Depot in Mayfield will host the music series this year from Friday, September 20th to Friday, November 29th.
Aphex Twin’s first ever curated show will open the season on Friday, September 20th as he plays his first show in Manchester since 2011. Nina Kraviz, Aleksi Perälä, Lee Gamble, 33EMYBW, Rian Treanor, Kyoka, ZULI, SØS Gunver Ryberg, Renick Bell, Acre, Szare and Croww complete the line-up. On Saturday, September 21st Disclosure headline the sold out Welcome to the Depot show.
Kaluki team up with WHP on Saturday, September 28th with Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Skream among those getting behind the decks. The WAH birthday will see sets from Chase & Status, DJ Zinc, My Nu Leng and more on Saturday, October 5th while Mura Masa, NAO, Black Midi, Joy Orbison and Special Request lead the line-up for Mura Masa presents Raw Youth College on Friday, October 18th.
Flume will play alongside special guests on Wednesday, November 13th and Skepta presents Octavian, M Huncho, Flohio and Jaykae on Saturday, November 23rd.
WHP co-founder, Sam Kandel says, “What’s happening down at Mayfield with the launch of the Depot venue is a huge moment for the whole of Manchester. There are a huge number of people and various different institutions and networks working in true collaboration to make this a reality. We are so grateful that WHP can play its part. After nearly ten years of pushing and pulling to make this place base camp for WHP it’s finally happening. We can’t wait.”
