Vessel, Beatrice Dillon, Biosphere, Skee Mask, Jude Marcella and B12 are among the first acts confirmed for MIRA ¤ SON Estrella Galicia in Barcelona. The music and digital arts festival returns from Tuesday, November 5th to Saturday, November 9th at venues and spaces throughout the city.
This year’s MIRA takes the direction of protest, exploring the importance of art and technology as instruments of protest and how they reshape the future and demand transformation. A/V shows will come from Biosphere, Alessandro Cortini, Huma, Kali Malone featuring Rainer Kohlberger, Blackest Ever Black presents Ossia featuring Max Kelan, Smerz featuring Weirdcore and Vessel featuring Pedro Maia.
London-based collective and label CURL, formed by Mica Levi, Coby Sey, and Brother May, will make their MIRA debut along with a number of special guests who will showcase an interdisciplinary performative show. Beatrice Dillon will present her brand new album while B12 will present their live show, reinterpreting their body of work.
Skee Mask will be accompanied by a visual set by artist Jude Marcella, Carlos Sáez will present Dualmismo: an immersive and large-format that toys with the real and the virtual, challenging Platonic dualism and testing our patterns of perception through the synchronisation of different light, video and sound effects.
