Dixon, Moodymann, Gerd Janson, Optimo and Eclair Fifi are among the first acts confirmed for Farr Festival 2018. Expanding to four days of music for the first time, next year Farr will run from Thursday, July 5th to Sunday, July 8th at Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire.
Mr G will return after his live Detroit vibes won praise in 2017, this time hosting a tongue-in-cheek G’s Spot stage powered by Mr G’s custom Funktion One sound system. Meanwhile Ransom Note will take control of the woods for three nights, presenting a selection of local and international talents from their discography.
Sub Club’s JD Twitch and JG Wilkes will curate a ‘Optimo & Friends’ line-up on the Ransom Note stage and South London’s Balamii Radio inject budding talent to the festival at their own stage.
Ambient and experimental stage Campfire Headphase will return with Inverted Audio curating an expanded programme of otherworldly electronic music. They have invited Bristol-based imprint Bokeh Versions to present the Sunday exploring dub, bass and reggae.
Weekend tickets are priced from £85. For details go to farrfestival.co.uk.
