Orbital, Soulwax, Django Django and High Contrast are among the first acts confirmed for Lancashire’s Beat-Herder 2018. Returning to Ribble Valley from Friday, July 13th to Sunday, July 15th, music will be spread across more than 20 stages as the dance music festival marks its 12th year and echoes its free party roots.
Headlining the main stage will be Orbital. They’ll be joined by Soulwax, Django Django, David Rodigan and Rebel MC aka Congo Natty who will play with The Rezistance live alongside Hollie Cook, former member of all-female punk/reggae band The Slits, and electronic afro-funk stalwarts, Ibibio Sound Machine.
The Toil Trees stage will see sets from Patrick Topping, Denis Sulta, Monki, Artwork, Sam Divine, Hammer and OC & Verde; while the Fortress welcomes Ben Sims, Erol Alkan, James Ruskin, Mella Dee, Deekline and Ed Solo.
The Ring will reflecting Ribble Valley’s mystic heritage with Utah Saints and Phibes. The split-level Factory will host Hookworms, a Foals DJ set, PINS and Elderbrook. Away from the music will be underground tunnels to explore, get inked at the on-site tattoo parlour, enjoy the heated hidden swimming pool or get some retro entertainment at the working men’s club.
