Leftfield and RAM Records will play the Arcadia 10th anniversary festival in London’s Queen Elizabeth Park. The two day event on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th will celebrate the collective’s 10 years of fusing music, performance art and its famous structures made from recycled materials.
Arcadia’s trademark Metamorphosis show will be performed both days with its flames, fireworks and gymnasts. Support will come in the form of acts playing throughout the day: with a house and techno theme on Saturday followed by a bass-driven Sunday.
On the Saturday, Leftfield will play a live selection from their back catalogue so expect hits from Leftism and Rhythm and Stealth. Sunday will see RAM Records host the Spider so expect the big guns from the label to make an apperance.
Arcadia founders Pip Rush and Bert Cole said: “Heading home from our world tour, we can’t wait to unleash the very best of the last decade to celebrate our tenth anniversary and open a new chapter for the road ahead.”
LWE has teamed up with Arcadia to produce the show. Director Will Harold added: “It’s a real honour to be working with the award-winning Arcadia team and welcoming them to London for their tenth anniversary. These announcements are just the beginning and we’re hugely excited to unleash the full Arcadia experience on the capital.”
