A new 2,500 capacity main stage, louder music and a later finish have been confirmed by Farr Festival organisers. When the boutique festival returns to Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire from Thursday, July 13th to Saturday, July 15th, The Factory will be its main stage - comprising of 52 shipping containers arranged into a rectangle formation with a custom-built L-Acoustics sound system, apex stage, pulsating LED lighting rods and video mapping system.
The Factory was designed by a team made up of BoomTown alumni with acts such as Todd Terje, Booka Shade, Nao, Red Axes, Submotion Orchestra, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Jordan Rakei, SG Lewis, Shanty and General Levy set to perform on its stage. Meanwhile, the festival’s licence means sound levels will be increased across all six stages and the dancefloors can keep going later on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
For those travelling to Farr via train, there will be a dedicated shuttle bus service running every 30 minutes from Baldock train station to the festival. Baldock train station is 30 minutes from London Kings Cross.
