DJ Krush celebrates 20 years

Godfather of the electronic beats scene DJ Krush celebrates 20 years of live gigs with a three-hour set at London’s The Forum. DJ Krush turned hip hop and turntablism into an artform, a pioneering move at the time in Japan. He used sample selection, effects and scratching to build up his unique sound, using a Japanese sense of minimalism, balance and progression.

Joining DJ Krush at The Forum on Saturday, January 28th will be Coldcut’s Jon More who last appeared in the capital for the Ninja XX party, Masaaki Yoshida, aka Anchorsong, who became a Soundcrash resident artist through personal recommendation from DJ Krush and the beat scene’s Kidkanevil.
