Anyone who was lucky enough to witness the marvel of Dark Carnival: Notes From Underground at The Old Vic Tunnels earlier this year saw the space under Waterloo station come alive with creative energy. Now a new project will see the tunnels transformed into a whimsical underground town for two nights featuring music, poetry, theatre, cabaret, comedy, interactive performance, dance and spoken word.
On Friday, December 17th and Saturday, December 18th London’s The Old Vic Tunnels will see hosts Dr Brown and comic duo Robin & Partridge invite you into December Nights: Tales From the Albion, a realm of raucous entertainment. Fill your flagon in the rowdy, rough and ready Bunker Tavern, dance in the elegant Ballroom, sample lyrical delicac and verbal wit on The Bandstand or hunt for the profuse and prolific in The Beowulf Bar where decadence will reign.
Orlando Seale will direct a pack of saucy troglodytes deprived of daylight and eager to welcome their overground guests.

We’re delighted to have the talents of Dr Brown and Robin & Partridge to act as hosts who will spice up the mix of cross-disciple artistic endeavours.
