The Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin and Paul Kalkbrenner will play shows at Printworks London in December. The final Issue 002 editions to be announced come with the news of a new soundsystem set-up in the Print Halls, special access available to the mezzanine and the opportunity to get behind the decks at the closing party.
December starts with the first Printworks show to run into the night from 6pm to 2am. Bugged Out! will host The Chemical Brothers with a DJ set plus guests to be announed. The closing weekend starts on Saturday, December 9th with Paul Kalkbrenner playing live.
On Sunday, December 10th the Issue 002 Closing Party will be hosted by Richie Hawtin’s PLAYdifferently technology brand with a headline session from Richie plus sets from Benjamin Damage, Chris Liebing, Etapp Kyle, Fabio Florido, HITO, Luciano, Nicole Moudaber and Rebekah.
Printworks is offering DJs who get tickets to the Closing Party the chance to get on the PLAYdifferently MODEL1 Open Decks offering. If you get a ticket to the show and want to test out the mixer in a club environment, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meanwhile has revealed the speakers in the Press Halls will have a new set up with 36 new speaker-stacks suspended above the dancefloor. Wristbands will also be on sale to access the Press Halls mezzanine and the Control Room - a new third room located on the top floor at the back of the main room, offering views of the laser shows.
