The popular day festival over the August bank holiday weekend has had its licence extended to a 10pm close on both the Saturday and Sunday, and has revealed the first act to close the main stage.
For Saturday, electronic duo Chase & Status will play a homecoming show. Expect an intense set of raging riffs and high octane breakdowns. Their frenetic formula earned their album No More Idols double platinum status and a “Best British Group” nomination at The Brit Awards 2012. Mixmag nominated Chase & Status for their “Greatest Dance Act Of All Time”, and they’ll preceed their SW4 performance with appearances at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival and Australia’s flagship Future Music Festival.
Will Kennard of Chase & Status said “It’s great to be headlining a festival in our home town, London. SW4 always has a killer line up and a great atmosphere and I’m sure it’ll be one of the highlights of our summer.”
Tickets to SW4 go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 17th from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/sw4 or 0844 847 2467.
