Chase & Status, Chemical Brothers, Elrow for In:Motion in December


Chase & Status, The Chemical Brothers, Elrow, Eats Everything, John Digweed, Ben UFO, Skeam and Hunee will keep Bristol’s In:Motion moving in December. The final dates for the annual clubbing series at Motion have been confirmed with events running up to New Year’s Eve.

On Friday, December 1st BuggedOut! continue their relationship with The Chemical Brothers by giving the duo a headline DJ slot joined by regular Erol Alkan, resident Lemmy Ashton and the Brothers’ warm-up DJ of choice, Nathan Detroit. Artwork will also be hosting an edition of Art’s House with Jasper James and Jess Farley. On Saturday, December 2nd, Resistance take control with Eats Everything, John Digweed, Matador and Paco Osuna.

Friday, December 8th sees Abode present a line-up to be announced while Crack Magazine host Saturday, December 9th with Ben UFO, Moodymann, Hunee, Helena Hauff, Tama Sumo, Palms Trax, Mr Price, Gramrcy, Daisy Moon and Overmono (Truss and Tessela) behind the decks.

The following weekend on Saturday, December 16th sees In:Motion welcome Amsterdam clubbing institution STRAF_WERK with an extended b2b from Richy Ahmed and Patrick Topping, KiNK, Heidi, Luk van Dijk and Em Williams. Elsewhere, catch Skream with an all night plus appearances from Blond:ish, Waifs and Strays, ANOTR and Wouter S will keep things bouncing.

Boxing Day is curated by The Blst with Chase and Status DJing alongside MC Rage, plus Heartless Crew, Dimension, Darkzy, Mollie Collins, TS2W, Sam Binga, Voltage, Nastee Boi and The Blast DJs. New Year’s Eve will be handled by Elrow, who will transform the whole Motion complex into a Toontown Farmyard, with elrow mascot Rowgelia taking centre stage at her own theme From Lost To The River. The line-up is secret, but expect to see Rowgelia alongside twin sister Rowberta unleashing an explosion of farmyard fun and confetti.
