Boiler Room to broadcast Tony Wilson inspired acid pool party on Easter Sunday

Tomorrow (Sunday, April 16th), Warehouse Project, Boiler Room and Fac 51 The Hacienda will turn back the clocks to the 1980s for an acid house pool party inspired by Tony Wilson’s The Other Side of Midnight at Victora Baths in Manchester. They’ve enlisted the A Guy Called Gerald, Danny Rampling, Artwork, Jon Dasilva and MNLTH to play from 3pm to 7pm and the pool will be filled for the first time in 30 years.

Tony Wilson’s ‘The Other Side of Midnight’ (OSM) was originally an acid house pool party filmed in Manchester’s Victoria Baths and broadcast on national TV in 1988. A Guy Called Gerald returns with a live set along with Hacienda resident Jon Dasilva and acid house veteran Danny Rampling from the old generation while Artwork and a MNLTH live set represent the new.

You’ll be able to see the action on Boiler Room here.*
