The Black Madonna, Midland, Young Marco, Gerd Janson and Mala will play Birmingham’s Leftfoot nights in its spring and summer season. Working with promoters such as Shadow City, Moodfix and Listening Sessions plus festival brands Chapter XIII and Love International, Leftfoot will host its parties at the Hare and Hounds and The Rainbow.
The shows kick off on Friday, March 24th with Shadow City presenting Young Marco and Dekmantel Soundsystem at Rainbow Venues, then Saturday April 8th with Nightmares on Wax at the Hare and Hounds. The Black Madonna will be joined by Midland, Gerd Janson, Mark E as part of Chapter XIII Festival at The Rainbow on Saturday, April 15th.
On Saturday, April 22nd Eglo Records celebrates its 8th birthday with founder Alexander Nut joined by labelmates Henry Wu and Steve Spacek at Hare and Hounds then on Friday, May 26th Listening Sessions present Digital Mystikz’s Mala. Sunday May 28th it’s a free bank holiday special with Leftfoot and Shadow City’s residents at The Rainbow Rooftop ahead of the Thursday June 1st show with Harvey Sutherland and Bermuda at Hare and Hounds.
Shadow City are back on Monday, June 5th with Peggy Gou on the Rainbow Rooftop, then on Saturday, June 17th its 4-Hero’s Dego on deck duty with the Leftfoot and Moodfix residents. The final party will see Leftfoot head to Croatia for Love International Festival on where they will host the Studio Barnhus boat party with label founder Axel Boman and Kornel Kovacs.
