Coldcut, Actress, Jayda G, Orbital, Daniel Miller and SoundCloud will be part of the AVA London 2020 conference programme. On Friday, March 13th, there will be talks, panel discussions, interviews, showcases and networking opportunities at Printworks London.
Ninja Tune will celebrate 30 years of releases with a talk while organisations such as Resident Advisor, Sentric Electronic, Abbey Road Studios, PRS For Music, Mustard Media, zero twenty, Musicians Union, Denon, Point Blank Music School, Abbey Road Institute and AFEM will be involved.
There will also be appearances from Steve Hogan (WME), Georgia Taglietti (Sonar Festival / Shesaid.so), Oli Isaacs (This is Music), Mark Newton (Broadwick Live), Richard Zijlma (ADE Co-Founder), Jensen Interceptor, Object Blue, Machine Woman, Asquith and Cinthie.
The AVA conference is free for all to attend via an online sign up form here and is dedicated to providing a much needed platform for people breaking into the industry to network and gain insight from those driving electronic music and visual art forward.
SoundCloud has partnered with AVA to bring its SoundCloud Creator Forum to this year’s conference both the conference on Friday and the club show on Saturday, March 14th, 2020. The live event platform is designed for aspiring and emerging creators with a focus on education, connection and helping artists get discovered. SoundCloud will also host a discussion focused on mental wellness and developing a self-care toolkit for music professionals and creatives across all industries.
Orbital, Joy Orbison, Ross From Friends (DJ), Overmono (Live), Jennifer Cardini, Peach, Cromby, Sally C, Swoose, Timmy Stewart, Carlton Doom and Dart will play the AVA London club show on Saturday, March 14th.
