AV festival 22rpm returns to London


All-day audio/visual electronic music festival 22rpm returns to London on Saturday, October 7th. Relocating to St John On Bethnal Green in Shoreditch for the third edition, the collaboration between Mango + Sweetrice Records and Bit-Phalanx Music will bring together iconic, veteran, cult and emerging acts with live visual installations and DJs.

22rpm 2017 will be headlined by Iceland’s Bedroom Community boss Valgeir Sigurðsson who will be joined by Bola showcasing new album D.E.G and Ninja Tune’s Ash Koosha. Meanwhile Sweetrice’s Queen-bee Coppé will profile her new album Milk, there will be a live set from British producer, musician and sound artist Scanner plus further sets from Ulrich Schnauss, Plaid, Gescom, B12, Digitonal and Derek Piotr.

Theis year 22rpm adds a second room with the Lumen Studio in the crypt space beneath the church hosting custom AV installations around a three-channel wireless headset ‘Silent Disco’. Bleep.com, Earth is Flat and Abstrakt Reflections eaturing Flint Kids, c0ma, Andrew Course, Microscopists and Hypercube will take a channel each.
