Arts and music festival Horst returns for fourth edition

A 15th century moated castle in Holsbeek will host art and music celebration Horst in September. The venue nestled away in the Belgium Hageland hills will feature music from Gilles Peterson, Red Greg, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Young Marco while the art will be curated by Gijs Van Vaerenbergh as a collection of in-situ artworks.

Horst will run on Friday, September 8th and Saturday, September 9th in its fouth edition exploring the creation of temporary places. The objective is to produce profound and bespoke art that establishes a dialogue with its context: the historic framework of the castle, its green rural setting and the presence of the festival itself. Named Spaces & Places, there will be work from Assemble, architect De Vylder Vinck Taillieu and Batia Suter.

Meanwhile the music line-up will also include Nosedrip, Jayda G, Funkineven B2B Jay Daniel, WWWater, Tako, Lefto, DC Salas, Kornel Kovacs, Mehmet Aslan and K15. More will be announced.
