Love Family Park, returns for its 22nd edition upon the lush banks of the River Main in Rüsselsheim, Germany at the end of the month. On Saturday, July 22nd the open-air, techno all-dayer and the brainchild of Sven Väth this year sees sets from Seth Troxler, Amelie Lens, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Solomun, Ricardo Villalobos, Boris Brejcha and more. We take a look at some of the acts not to miss.
Over 12 hours and three stages, Love Family Park features 22 selectors, spanning the founding fathers and the rising stars of the underground. An essential part of Love Family Park, key player Papa Sven Väth is the leading light, joined by techno pioneer, Richie Hawtin plus Diynamic’s Solomun returning after his epic 2016 debut and Ricardo Villalobos back to take dancers on a mesmerising sonic journey.
Also heading up the bill is Russian royalty Nina Kraviz, there’s superstar on the rise Amelie Lens, jackin’ beats and melodic house from Butch plus Boris Brejcha and Maceo Plex making their Love Family Park debut.
CLR boss Chris Liebing, festival mainstays Adriatique, Innervisions boss Dixon, party purveyor Seth Troxler, Cologne duo andhim, Cocoon’s Karotte and Oliver Koletzki, techno titans Pan-Pot, Loco Dice and intergalactic duo Moonbootica complete the record-spinners. Live sets will come from Dominik Eulberg, Lexy & K-Paul and Fritz Kalkbrenner.
Love Family Park will run from 10am to 10pm at Mainvorland Rüsselsheim, with transport offers for attendees from France, Switzerland and Germany here. Flights from London to Frankfurt are £89 and take 1hr 30 minutes with accommodation near to the site.
