Young Fathers, Badbadnotgood, Friendly Fires, Justice, The Black Madonna, Hunee and Omar-S are among the 38 acts added to the debut All Points East Festival in London’s Victoria Park this summer. The three day event from Friday, May 25th to Saturday, May 27th has previously-announced headliners LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Björk respectively.
Joining LCD Soundsystem on the Friday are Young Fathers, Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), Chromeo, Hookworms, Oscar & the Wolf, Confidence Man, Hercules & Love Affair, Knox Fortune, DJ Tennis, Roman Flügel, Gerd Janson, Superorganism, Lo Moon, Fort Romeau and Eclair Fifi. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Richie Hawtin, George Fitzgerald and Dixon were announced previously.
The Saturday will see sets from Justice, Badbadnotgood, RHYE, Stefflon Don, Omar-S, Shanti Celeste, DJ Python, DJ Richard, Call Super, Kojey Radical, Beatrice Dillon, Sevdaliza and Hunee with The xx toppping the bill. Lorde, Sampha and Lykke Li had been confirmed already.
Building up to Björk’s Sunday headline slot will be sets from Django Django, Friendly Fires, Tom Misch, Khruangbin, Allie X, Yellow Days, The Black Madonna, Mr G, Byron The Aquarius and Dan Beaumont. Beck, Father, John Misty and Flying Lotus will also play.
The three day festival will be followed by four days of a community-focused programme of comedy, food and outdoor cinema. All Points East concludes with concerts headlined by Catfish and the Bottlemen (Friday, June 1st), The National (Saturday, June 2nd) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (Sunday, June 3rd).
