Rizzy Entario has gained recognition with his releases ‘100 Properties’, ‘Flexin’ and ‘Wavey’. His new single, ‘Da 1 4 Me’, sets him up for the release of his EP. We found out more about Rizzy and the new song.

My wish is to be up there with all the mainstream artist in the UK and make my family and friends proud.

First up, tell us bit about yourself - what first got you into music?
My peers and family members said I was good at is so I took it into consideration, also I’ve grown up around music so it only made sense to not let my talent go to waste.

Were there any particular bands or artists you took inspiration from?
Yes, there various different artist such as Mostack, Yxng Bane, etc. The reason for this is because they all started with nothing and managed to make something of themselves for the better.

How would you describe your style?
My style is a mix of rap and melodies. The reason I have adapted to this style is because it best fits me - it comes naturally, and it also gives the fans a bit of both worlds.

If you could collaborate with any living artist, who would it be?
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Loski, & Mostack. The reason for these choices is because I really like there style and I think if we was to merge our styles together it would be awesome.

Some of your early releases were ‘100 Properties’, ‘Flexin’ and ‘Wavey’. How did your reputation build off these?
People liked the style of the songs and I started to get a little bit more noticed publicly.

Was support from GRM Daily important?
I wouldn’t say it was important but they have helped me by letting me post my videos on their channel which I am grateful for.

You dropped ‘Bad B’ and ‘OTG’ in the summer. What response did they get?
People were feeling them and I was getting a lot of good positive feedback.

Tell us about your new single ‘Da 1 4 Me ‘. What’s it about?
‘Da 1 4 Me’ is a song about me having a girl and wanting to show her off to my family and the world, also wanting to show her the finer things in life.

When did you write it and where did you record it?
I wrote and recorded it all in the space of two hours in my studio. It was easy to write and the vibe in the studio make it 10x more enjoyable.

How does ‘Da 1 4 Me ‘ build on your style?
It shows people that I’m diverse and loads of different material. And that there’s more to expect from me.

What are your hopes for ‘Da 1 4 Me ‘?
My hopes are that it will give me more exposure and recognition to then move on to bigger and better things in my career.

Finally, if you could wish for one thing to happen for you next year, what would it be?
My wish is to be up there with all the mainstream artist in the UK and make my family and friends proud.
